Oh Bear, Where Art Thou?

A small bear is befriended by a double act comprising two bumbling moose in this delightful kids wilderness story from Walt Disney studios.

Brother Bear

Long ago, when the Earth was young and ice still covered the land, it was believed that the Great Spirits of the Northern Lights wielded the power to transform.

In a tiny village by the river, headstrong teenager, Kenai has an issue with bears. And why not - the bears compete for the same food and land, loot his village, and ruin his coming of age ceremony.

Brother

But when his oldest brother, Sitka, is lost in a perilous battle with a ferocious grizzly, Kenai ignores the village teachings of brotherhood, choosing instead to track down the bear and satisfy his thirst for vengeance.

In a visual feast of spiralling lights and ghost-like images of animals, the Great Spirits transform Kenai into a bear, forcing him to examine the world through the eyes of his enemy. Hunted by Denahi, his only remaining brother, Kenai must find the sacred mountain where the Great Spirits reside in order to regain his human form...before his brother tracks him down.

He tries to enlist the help of two bumbling Canadian moose, but soon finds the only animal who can help him find his way to the mountain of the Great Spirits is an adorable and talkative bear cub named Koda.

Pursued

Forced to travel together and pursued by Denahi, Koda and Kenai's quest propels them across the northern territory through glacial caverns, frosty tundra, a valley of fire, and treacherous gorges. Over the course of his journey with Koda, Kenai is forced to question everything he knows and learns many important lessons about the true meaning of brotherhood.

Ultimately, he realises that his physical transformation from a man to a bear is insignificant compared to the change that has occurred within his inner self.
