From the website hailed as the natural replacement for Smash Hits comes a much-needed shot in the arm for pop: Popjustice, the album.

Popjustice: 100% Solid Pop Music brings together today’s most dynamic, genre-busting pop music, pitting credible bands like Sugababes and Girls Aloud against pure pop acts like Franz Ferdinand and The Killers in a continuous mix by renowned mash-up artist Grant McZleazy (Xfm).

Along the way we hear pop which breaks rules and sets its own agenda from a diverse array of hitmakers from around the globe, including: Nelly Furtado, Rihanna, Scissor Sisters, Britney Spears, Annie, The Similou, floppy-haired Domino rockers Franz Ferdinand, Kelly Clarkson and The Automatic, along with exclusives from the likes of chart-toppers Girls Aloud, former singer with theaudience Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Client.

An essential listen for both pop obsessives and those who only permit themselves to like the good bits, Popjustice: 100% Solid Pop Music is the first compilation release from Fascination, Polydor’s new crossover pop label, and comes with sleevenotes from legendary pop writer Jon Savage.

The website Popjustice.com has been championing brilliant, innovative and danceable pop music since May of 2000 and has become an essential online destination for anyone who loves, makes and works in pop music. Created by former music journalist Peter Robinson, Popjustice is also a daily mobile service, a range of books and a weekly London club night.

Here's what pop people and critics have had to say about the Popjustice’ so far:
