Bond is back, and on the PlayStation 2! EA games have produced the first ever Bond game for the console in the shape of James Bond 007 in...Agent Under Fire,

Bond fans rejoice - MGM’s blockbuster international superspy has arrived! James Bond 007 in...Agent Under Fire delivers a unique and complete game experience that thrusts the player into the murky hi-octane world of secret agent 007.

Criminal Mastermind

As Bond, the player must defeat the evil criminal mastermind Malprave, head of a rising terrorist organisation bent on ruling the world with their army of clones. Helping players along the way is the traditional Bond girl – here represented by Zoe Nightshade. The action leaps from location to location in traditional Bond style, with each of the more than ten world settings containing a generous offering of challenging opponents and objectives.

Agent Under Fire gives players the option of blasting their way through each level using high tech weaponry, or quietly relying on spy-craft tricks and state-of-the-art gadgets. Or a bit of both. The game also allows up to four-player multiplayer split screen modes, as well as the usual single player option.

The driving levels feature an array of 007-inspired exotic cars and automotive combat gimmicks straight out of the Bond movies.

Next Generation

Agent Under Fire utilises next generation console technology to help bring life to the full environmental physics and detailed 3-D environments, including a massive deep sea oil rig set atop a secret underwater base. Only through the clever utilisation of Q-lab weapons and gadgets along with Bond-style wit, will the player be able to thwart Malprave’s plans…and of course, get the girl.
