The wait is over as the new edition of FIFA Football (2004) is released through EA Sports, across all formats.

FIFA Football 2004 now features 18 different leagues, 350 teams and 10,000 individual players. New additions for 2004 include the Dutch and Portuguese leagues as well as the lower leagues from across Europe’s greatest footballing nations.

  • Wayne Rooney

    Electronic Arts held a special retail signing with Everton and England football star at the HMV store in Church Street, Liverpool to celebrate the launch of the game. On it's launch FIFA Football 2004 was already the UK's No.1 selling game (*source ELSPA) and Rooney, who features in the new game alongside his Everton and England team-mates, was on hand to meet hundreds of FIFA Football fans who had travelled from all over the North-West region to meet him. Rooney personally signed hundreds of copies of the new FIFA Football game as well as autographs for his fans.

    Rooney said: "It's great. Last year I was playing the FIFA Football game against my mates and this year I am actually one of the players in it. At least this means I can now play footie with my mates again, even if it's not in the street."

    FIFA Football 2004 allows you to recreate famous domestic and international grudge matches such as Everton Vs Liverpool, Turkey Vs England, or even England Vs Germany. FIFA Football 2004 also includes special career mode where you can assume the role of the manager and make transfers throughout the season plus realistic and detailed stadiums complete with chanting fans and match commentary supplied by John Motson and Ally McCoist.
