Sometime radio personalities Mark Radcliffe and Marc Riley (ex member of The Fall and The Creepers) are best known to their many fans as Mark and Lard, the popular, funny and extraordinary DJs who until very recently kept legions of listeners entertained with their witty and light hearted banter every weekday afternoon on Radio One. Now fans of the famous double act will be delighted to know that they have been reunited by Universal Pictures for a hilarious look at the world of football on the video and DVD Mark & Lard’s Football Nightmares.

This collection of Beavis & Butthead styled 'from-the-sofa' comments give fans a chance to see what Mark & Lard have to say on the subject of a diversity of (often - it must be said - rather peripheral) 'footie' related matters. These include the weighty issues of Brazilian referees, streakers, bad haircuts and the complexities of the off-side rule. Possibly not that last one...

Both devoted fans of Manchester City F.C, Mark & Lard have always got plenty to say when it comes to their favourite sport and this video and DVD is full of their trademark banter as they play at being football oracles for an hour of footballing fun.

Compiled with the help of worldwide football associations, Mark and Lard present clips of own goals, gaffs, bad misses and general travesties of football.
