Simple to make and delicious to drink. Try out some fun and delicious cocktails to shake up your party.
In TV sitcom land would you be a Only Fools and Horses Del Boy type? Do you crave the home mini-bar or cocktail cabinet? Some tips to help you get started...
Black 'n' Blue
1/2 shot black vodka
1/2 shot blue curaçao
Layer the ingredients in a shot glass with the black vodka on top.
Harvey Wallbanger
5 shots orange
2 shots vodka
1 shot galliano
Ice cubes
Pour the vodka and orange juice over ice cubes and then stir. Layer the galliano on the top.
Jackhammer Black
1 1/4 shot black Vodka
Pinapple juice
Layer the ingredients in a highball glass.
Long Island Ice Tea
Sour Mix
Splash of Cola
Equal parts: Rum, Gin, Vodka, Tequila, Triple Sec.
Shake the alchohol together with a splash of sour mix and pour this mixture into a tall glass. Top the glass up with cola to your desired level. For the spirits I would suggest no more than one shot of each.
Midnight Sun
Cranberry juice
Black vodka
Ice
Pour the black vodka over the cranberry juice and the ice to give a layered effect.
Pina Colada
1 1/4 shot rum
Splash cream of coconut (coconut milk)
Splash of pineapple juice
Mix everything together with ice and serve it in a large decorative glass with a chunk of pineapple on the rim, a cherry, a cocktail umbrella and two straws.
Tequila Sunrise
2 shots silver tequila
2 shots grenadine
Fresh orange juice
Ice cubes
Pour the tequila into a chilled highball glass filled with ice cubes. Fill the glass up with orange juice, stir and float the grenadine on the top.
Vodka Martini
3 shots iced vodka
1/4 tsp dry vermouth
Cocktail olive
Ice
Stir together the vodka and ice in a mixing glass and then strain it into a chilled cocktail glass. Add the olive.
We don't recommend trying all of these on the same occasion by the way. Enjoy (but sensibly now).
