Impossible Bends!

Last updated: 10/10/2006 - 10:32

Breakneck high speed racing meets puzzle making in this innovative new game of impossible driving.

TrackMania/TrackMania Sunrise

A pair of driving games with a twist...and a loop...and a jump! TrackMania - and it's companion game TrackMania Sunrise - is a brand new concept, where the player enters a crazy universe not just of impossible breakneck road-racing but also of track building and puzzles.

For the first time ever in a PC game, the player builds the track before racing on it. Working out the best route, short cuts and cheeky manoeuvres is the task ahead. Will he find the right way to do the best time? The name of the game is to collect all the blocks available within the TrackMania set, a truly virtual construction game enabling the creation of increasingly larger and higher tracks, including jumps, loops, and high octane corners, allowing the construction of courses up to an amazing 2000 blocks!

Hardcore

That's not all! TrackMania is an addictive fast paced multiplayer Mecca, including crazy tracks galore, the ability to create your own
track and share the experience, and a variety of fascinating competition modes. Open to all, Trackmania's network game is built to allow every player to participate, from the casual gamer with a low-speed connection to the hardcore gamer with a high-speed connection.

TrackMania is a breath of fresh air in a genre stagnated and obsessed by realism. With infinite replay value and the emphasis firmly on fun, it's sure to prove a shot n the arm for PC speed junkies.

Digital Jesters has issued supplemental playing guidelines for players of its recent release Trackmania: Sunrise - sequel to the original Trackmania - in order to prevent them from feeling ill through extended play.

Guidelines

The game – a blistering race title in which players tear around imaginative stunt courses featuring jumps, loop the loops and death-defying bends – has proved so disorientating, the game's testers have been hit by bouts of motion sickness.

Trackmania Sunrise takes all the high octane, free wheeling insanity that is Trackmania: blistering bends, impossible turns and mile high half-pipes that made the original an instant online classic and still manages to add more and more. Amazing speed, ultra competitive multiplayer races and easily accessible tools allowing players to create and distribute outrageous tracks all serve to deliver this dizzying trip.

"Remain Safe"

"Whilst we're proud of the sensation of speed and movement offered by Trackmania: Sunrise, we're keen to ensure that our players remain safe and healthy," says Leo Zullo, Marketing Director, Digital Jesters. "Whilst there's absolutely no danger of long-term damage through playing the game, it's possible those that playing for a significant period may experience dizziness and headaches, so we've issued these guidelines in order to make sure our customers enjoy Trackmania: Sunrise in a risk-free manner."

New cars have been added that burn up the highways at a breathtaking 400kph as they tear around a series of gorgeous environments, including the beauty of the US Pacific Coast.

The most insane stunt blocks ever send perilous track building to a whole new level with sweeping bends, winding tunnels and ramps designed to send you soaring. Two new play modes – ‘Platform’ and ‘Crazy’ – mean that even the most experienced of trackmaniacs from the former game face a totally fresh racing experience.
