The Lamborghini is a mega-powerful machine, representing for many the epitomy of a 'super car'. Vechiles in the series featured prominently in television series (showing up more than once in Micheal Mann's high-octane cop show Miami Vice) as well as in numerous films and advertising campaigns. With its sleek body design and world-famous 'flip-up' wing doors this two-seater speed monster hugs the ground like a futuristic beast which is easily classed as one of the most and beautiful and muscular cars around.
In the Diablo model - the successor to the previous model, the Lamborghini Countach - the engine configuration consists of a huge V12 unit, meaning this flier can accelerate from standstill to 60mph in just 3.6 seconds - and on to a top speed of 205mph. As with it's predecessor, the Diablo featured rear-wheel drive and a centre-mounted engine (to aid it's weight balance) as well as computer-controlled multi-point fuel injection and sports hand made interior furniture and an exclusive French Breguet clock on the dashboard - for that extra touch of luxury.
With a fantastic rear end and well placed air vents, the car has looks to die for and a redeveloped shape means that this Lamborghini looks better then ever. The only problem is its mega expensive price tag. Definitely a car for the 'if you have to ask how much it's going to cost you to buy, run and insure, it's beyond your range' school of motor shopping.
